Note – all supplements are not created equal!

January 29, 2008

Some (whole food) vitamins break down easily, are easy to digest and assimilate and can be readily transported to specific areas of the body.  Most of these high quality vitamins use organic whole foods which are cold processed (so as not to lose or destroy the vitamins) .  On the other end are synthetic vitamins (made from chemical processes) manufactured in large processing plants.  While these vitamins may have the same or similar chemical structure they are not necessarily seen the same by the body.  The body knows the difference.  Natural or whole food supplements contain the total complex family of micro-nutrients (known and unknown) just as they are found in nature.  These micro-nutrients are necessary for the proper absorption and utilization of the vitamins. Without these micro – nutrients you can not optimize the vitamins and minerals within the body.  The synthetic vitamins lack the supporting micro-nutrients thus you don’t get the health benefits.

Science does not know all the supporting nutrients in natural whole food products.  A good example of this is the B vitamin complex.  In 1925 only one B vitamin was known.

Over the years we have found many more.  In 1975 we were up to 11 and today we are at 15.  Who knows how many more we might find in the future.  If you buy the whole food product you get all the extra nutrients too.

Dr. Charles Schneider, Ph.D., professor of Chemistry, Univ. of Cincinnati made this statement: “Get the vitamins that say natural.  There is a difference.  The “dl” (synthetic) will be cheaper, but if you could figure it out per energy unit or per use, the natural one will be cheaper.”

Think of a synthetic vitamin as being a mirror image of the real thing (whole food – natural).  It looks the same but it’s only a reflection of the real thing.

Conclusion:

Try to keep your diet as natural and organic as possible.  Supplement your diet with natural organic whole food supplements.  Using supplements will not excuse a poor diet. But they can definitely help.

Do We Really Need Supplements?

January 25, 2008

Your body needs nutrients the same way a car needs oil and gas to run.

Feed it “high test” (high quality foods) and it will run better longer.

If the body fails to get the correct amounts and balances of nutrients it will not function efficiently.  The body will become susceptible to degenerative disease and illness.

Is it possible to eat a healthy diet and obtain all the necessary nutrients our body needs?

Maybe 100 years ago or more you might have found the proper foods to sustain a healthy body.  The facts are that in today’s world food is not what it use to be.

Proven Facts of today’s foods:     They sorely lack in vital nutrients.  Many modern techniques used to grow food faster, larger and more prolifically, along with depleted and over used soil have robbed many foods of the nutrients they once possessed.   Research has shown up to a 2,000% difference in some of the nutrients found in organic foods vs. commercially grown inorganic ones. Unfortunately even the organically grown foods show a dramatic decline in nutrition over the ones our grandparents ate.      Do to our life styles today most of us don’t have access to healthy organic foods on a daily bases.  Even those that may have some organic fruits or vegetables more than likely do not have excess to non-chemically fed or hormonally treated chicken eggs, raw milk, beef or chicken (meat).         Besides the changes in our food, we need to remember that our life style is different then our ancestors too.  We have more stress and the toxins we are exposed to daily in our water and air along with our food have changed the nutrient requirements we need to stay healthy.  These nutrients can very dramatically between individuals depending on their metabolism and over all health.  Your overall health is essential in the bodies ability to absorb the nutrients it’s fed.        Supplements are a MUST to optimizing your health.  They can add the vital nutrients you’re missing due to an imperfect diet.     At All New Health.com we have a complete range of natural whole food vitamins and supplements.  We also have body cleanses to get your body ready to absorb and use all the good nutrients you want to start putting in your body.  You can save up to 25% on our autoship plan and 50% by becoming a total living member.
